Teacher Domain™Teacher Domain collaborative groups share, document, and publish the outcomes of their work to inspire and inform the work of teachers who are new to the field of early care and education. These are groups of experienced teachers committed to the success of beginning teachers.
As each collaborative uses regular internet communication to share professional experiences, they document their successful teaching activities. A writer and graphic artist assists them in creatively presenting and illustrating shared information, so that they may publish their collective work and offer beginning teachers ideas, resources and guidance grounded in "real life" experiences.
Consider the positive outcomes— Teacher Domain motivates experienced and talented professionals to continue working directly with children and expands their collegial relationships. The work of experienced teachers is honored and published. They pass their wisdom on to beginning teachers. They supplement their own income with profits from the sale of publications. Beginning teachers have the opportunity to access information and ideas from experienced teachers. Teacher Domain benefits children and families as the publications by teachers, for teachers inform and inspire the daily work in children's centers.
