Faith in Children™Legacy of Caring envisions well-informed sponsors of children's programs who are fully aware of all that is required to excel in the early care and education of children. Further, we envision that every sponsor is deeply committed to offering the very best of facilities and services to children and families, and that they are acknowledged for their contributions to the welfare of their communities. We begin with the largest collective sponsor of early care and education programs – faith communities.
Faith in Children challenges faith communities that house or sponsor preschools and child care programs to insure that their children's programs excel. Legacy of Caring is publishing a series of books to assist faith communities in this endeavor and also offering consultant services. The first book in this series is Faith in Children: Stories from Faith-Based Children's Centers. Our "Call for Stories" has been issued for the second book, Faith in Children: Stories of Leadership from Faith-Based Children's Centers.
Consider the positive outcomes— faith communities lead the way to a higher standard of early care and education in their communities. They motivate other sponsors, large and small, to excel in their services to children and families.
